The CDFVR Advisory Group (CDFVRAG) provides independent and expert advice to the CDFVR Director on strategic directions and sector priorities for research, evaluation, sector development and community engagement. The Advisory Group will operate for the term of the funding agreement between CQUniversity and the Department of Communities (current term).
The CDFVR Advisory Group will:
- contribute to CDFVR's triennial strategic planning process to discuss emerging issues and identify priorities for future CDFVR work at a face-to-face meeting in Mackay;
- meet up to 3 times per year by teleconference to discuss relevant issues and provide feedback and advice; and
- act as a ‘sounding board’ for CDFVR staff, via email communication, as needed.
