The Combined Women’s Refuge Group, South East Queensland (CWRG SEQ) is the oldest domestic violence related network in Queensland, having been established in 1979. It is based in Brisbane and its membership is drawn from SAAP-funded women’s refuges in the south-east corner of the State.
The CWRG meets quarterly to:
- share information;
- provide peer support; and
- lobby for improved conditions for women affected by domestic violence and the agencies that support them.
