The following statistical information has been
collated from the Centre's Domestic and Family Violence Database.
The data is collected by domestic and family violence prevention
and support services funded by the Queensland Government’s
Department of Communities, in respect of each new client, or
new client matter presenting for assistance in relation to
domestic or family violence. The data does not accurately
reflect numbers of individual people accessing support services
and, because it only relates to people who access support
services, it cannot be seen to represent the incidence of domestic
and family violence in Queensland.
