Issues Paper - Men and Women Working Together, Indigenous Family Violence Prevention Forum 2005
The Centre’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Reference Group has met to review the results of the Indigenous Family Violence Prevention Forum workshops and prepare an Issues Paper that provides recommendations in the following areas of concern:
- child protection policy and practice;
- domestic violence shelters in rural and remote areas;
- innovations in education to prevent Indigenous family violence;
- Indigenous justice issues; and
- healing.
