The Centre, in conjunction with the Department of Communities and Central Queensland University ’s Faculty of Arts, Health and Sciences Visiting Scholars Program was delighted to host a visit from Professor Mary Koss on April 23rd.
Professor Koss is a world-renowned gendered violence researcher and clinical psychologist with the University of Arizona . Her seminar titled, Restorative Justice and Gendered Violence: Focus on Adult Sex Crimes overviewed a restorative justice program for adult sex crimes in Pima County , Arizona called RESTORE. This seminar was broadcast to six sites within Queensland (Bamaga to the Gold Coast and out to Mt Isa), as well as to an audience in Adelaide.
